G.S. Polishing is a specialist metal polishing business based in Rochester, Kent.  Founded in 2001 by Gavin Sowter, I’ve been a full time metal polisher in the industry since 1994.

I specialise in the polishing and restoration of motorcycle and car parts from vintage to custom, to show standards. Many other types of polishing and restoration work are also undertaken for example - antique items, ornamental items as well as new custom manufactured parts made from non ferrous metals.

I take great pride in my work and started the business through word of mouth alone.  Repeat customers are highly valued as I have always believed in producing the highest quality of work possible.

At G.S. Polishing I polish all types of metals to a mirror or satin finish. Please note all of the items in the photo gallery are polished bare metal only.

Motorcycle parts
The polishing of aluminium parts, aluminium castings or stainless steel parts on your bike or trike whether it's engine casings, frames, swing arms, wheels, hubs, brake callipers, yokes, etc, factory or custom made, vintage, classic or custom bike parts are all welcome.
Car parts 
The polishing of aluminium, aluminium castings or stainless steel parts on your car or in your engine bay, inlet manifolds, cam covers, rocker covers, split wheel rims, heat shields, turbo pipes, s/steel bumpers and trims or any other part that you might want mirror polished, classic or custom.
Antiques, collectables and boat parts:
The polishing and restoration of many old and unusual items whether they are made from brass, copper, bronze, aluminium, etc.
